Zemog El Gallo Bueno, New York City pioneers of post-salsa, turned in an outstanding performance last weekend at Littlefield in Park Slope. Lead by their dynamic creator, Abraham Gomez-Delgado, the 11 member band nearly blew the roof off the place, stimulating the mind with political lyrics & the feet with infectious rhythms. I was lucky to be there with camera in hand. Surprisingly, I managed to get some solid photos. With all the dancing I was doing, I expected a lot more blur.
