Timber Timbre is yet another outstanding musical export from our
neighbors to the north. Twice nominated for the Polaris Prize, they've
evolved over the years from a creep folk outfit to a band with a fleshed
out sound all their own.
The
multifaceted musician Jihae put on a free show yesterday for those with
the foresight to RSVP quickly. I was probably one of the first to get
my name on the list.

Last night a friend and I caught a serious triple bill at Baby's All Right for $10. $10! Ridiculousness.

Glasslands continues to be one of my favorite little venues in the big city. It also continues to suck for photographs. The lighting is always low and hot, making it virtually impossible for a small timer like myself to capture great shots. Lighting frustration aside, on Wednesday I caught two local acts, Salt Cathedral & Nerve.
